Galvion and Distance Collaborate on Advanced Helmet Systems with Distance’s Computational Optics and Acuity OS

The effort is intended to integrate the most advanced Augmented Reality (AR) computational optics and Distance’s Acuity OS directly into Galvion’s state-of-the-art head system solutions.

The collaboration is intended to bring together Galvion’s expertise in mission-critical head systems and integrated soldier solutions with Distance’s advanced visual augmentation. By aligning helmet design, subsystem integration, and user interface development from the outset, the companies aim to rapidly accelerate a path from technical development to customer evaluation and commercialization.
