The World is the Interface.
Welcome to the age of reality-centric design.
Our ground-breaking technology is bringing visual AI into everyday life without any glasses, headset or other distractions. High-resolution visual elements blend naturally into the real world at any distance from the viewer – enhancing comfort, awareness and safety while on the road. Infinite pixel depth enables virtual content to appear up close or much further away, extending infinitely into the distance.

Key features.
Technology that scales
As our Lightfield technology is software driven, it removes many of the hardware limitations of legacy HUD solutions. From entry-level models to premium flagship cars, Distance offers effortless scalability for all vehicle segments – ensuring a superior XR-enhanced driving experience across your entire portfolio. And with our compact, modular hardware design, you can easily offer mixed reality capabilities for all vehicle types without integrating projectors or transparent displays into the windshield.
Introducing reality-centric design
Our binocular depth effect transforms the driving experience by displaying reality-centric visuals directly onto the windscreen. Unlike traditional HUDs, Distance’s technology renders layered 3D content with true depth perception – making information appear within the driver’s natural line of sight without any distractions. Whether it’s a navigation route displayed on top of the road or a depth-accurate night vision overlay, everything feels like it’s a natural part of the real world.
The unrestricted view
With an expansive field of view and adaptive eye box, our technology ensures unmatched viewing flexibility for both driver and passenger. The entire windscreen becomes a spatial canvas, allowing immersive content to be shown dynamically based on natural viewing angles and head movement. This eliminates the tunnel-vision effect of traditional HUDs for a vastly superior visual experience across every inch of the windshield.
Hardware-driven legacy HUD systems
Other HUD systems typically require 20+ liters of volume in a car, but for most vehicles this amount of space is simply not available. Images tend to be small and flat, and also too close to the viewer so that it’s distracting to focus on. Current systems are often limited to speed and navigation elements – only offering minor innovations and enhancements.
Software-driven Distance 3D LightField
Distance is redefining the driving experience and solving key problems for next-generation HUD development – with easy integration across your entire vehicle portfolio. Our software-driven computational optical solution and XR compositor engine enable full edge-to-edge visual projections, infinite pixel depth and true blending of virtual elements into reality.
Driving the future of XR
When it comes to Distance, the possibilities are infinite. We’re redefining what XR means in the industry as we constantly discover new and exciting applications – especially with the emergence of autonomous cars. In collaboration with our partners, we want to shape the future together and finally bring XR into everyday life.
Seeing is believing. To really open your eyes to what’s possible, you have to see Distance for yourself. Please contact our sales team to request a demo.
